Equipment Design for Manufacture of Iced Tea
Designed equipment for the process and manufacture of a bottled iced tea product. From concept to run-off, E.W.Keith & Associates was responsible for the design and management of the project. The project also incorporated an innovative process by which to reclaim thermal energy associated with manufacture of the beverage.
Tier 1 Automotive Supplier Retooling Project
Managed a nearly $30 million retooling project for a major automotive supplier. The project included management of removing most of the existing equipment, relocating remaining equipment, and installing new equipment for the manufacture of the new components and processes. The project also required upgrades to most of the facility infrastructure such as electric, compressed air, water, fire suppression, lighting and more.
Finite Element Analysis of a Lift Ring
Performed an analysis on a “below the hook lifting device” used to handle 142’ long wind generation blades using a finite element analysis method. E.W. Keith & Associates was asked to perform the analysis to determine the factor of safety for the device and to determine modifications necessary to meet OSHA standards.
